Fátima

Fatima is one of the most famous Catholic pilgrimage sites in the world. Situated in central Portugal, the town gained popularity in the early 20th century when 3 shepherd children saw an apparition of Our Lady of Fátima. A shrine was built in honour of this event and is now visited by thousands of pilgrims every year.
