Batalha

Batalha is one of the most visited places in Portugal thanks to the Batalha Monastery, built in the 14th century to celebrate the victory of the Portuguese against the kingdom of Castile. It is a beautiful example of Gothic style architecture, where the Founders Chapel, the cloisters, the Imperfect Chapels and the Chapter Room stand out.
