Your tour is about to begin!

When you arrive in Porto, you will have a transfer to take you to your hotel in Guimarães.
The historic center of Guimarães has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001, in recognition for being "an exceptionally well-preserved and authentic example of the evolution from a medieval settlement to a modern city" in Europe. It was once the capital of the County of Portugal.
Later, you will enjoy a gourmet dinner at a traditional restaurant in the city.

In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start the journey through the best that Minho gastronomy has to offer.
Along the way, you will pass by one of the Quintas where green wine is produced - a delicious white wine unique to this area in Europe - and, of course, you will have a wine tasting included. 
On the way back to Guimarães, you will stop at Penha hill, the best point of the city to have a stunning panoramic view.
Lunch will follow in one of the best gourmet restaurants in town.
Then you will visit the Castle and Paço dos Duques de Bragança (entrance fees included).  
To allow you to relax for the rest of the day, your local guide will drop you off in the city's main square.

It's time to say goodbye to Guimarães!
After breakfast, you will have free time for personal activities.
A transfer will take you to the Airport or the city of Porto, after checking-out at the hotel.
