After breakfast, tour to Lagoa do Fogo and Sete Cidades.
The tour begins strongly for those with a sweet tooth by visiting the traditional pineapple´s plantation, biological culture developed on greenhouses where it’s possible to taste the pineapple´s liquor.
The journey continues on the west coast of the island where you'll enjoy the view Pico de Carvão‘s viewpoint. Surrounded by the greenest vegetation, we will find in Vista do Rei ‘s viewpoint at Sete Cidades volcanic complex. From here, you can see the twin lakes, and it's iconic blue and green colors.
Once on the crater, there´s the amazing Santiago‘s lake to see. A stop will be made in the picturesque Sete Cidades town where the lunch will be served in a regional restaurant. In the afternoon, the tour goes along the coast enjoying the western landscape until we arrive to Capelas, an ancient whaling village, stopping at Pedras Negras‘s viewpoint to see the northern coast of the island.
Continuing in the north coast, we will stop to visit the Ribeira Grande town and its historic center. Optionally, it is possible to go to the Regional Liquor’s Factory and taste its liquors. After that, Caldeira Velha, a natural reserve, is the chosen place to take an optional bath enjoying the warm water from a waterfall.
The last stop will be to take a look over the fantastic Lagoa do Fogo. Returning to Ponta Delgada going down by Pico da Barrosa, we will have once more the supreme view over the newest and narrowest part of the island.
