Meet the itinerary

Pick up no centro de Ponta Delgada

We start the tour with the pick up of passengers in the center of Ponta Delgada.

Passing through Vila Franca do Campo

On the way to our trail, we will also pass through Vila Franca do Campo, from where it is possible to observe the famous islet of Vila Franca with its inner crater.

Passage through Furnas

Our trail also includes the Furnas volcano where it will be possible to observe volcanic phenomena and their manifestations such as calderas and hot springs.

Salto do Prego

It is in this rich place surrounded by nature and vegetation that we will take a break for our picnic lunch. There will also be time for a dip in the crystal-clear waterfall.

Vila de Povoacao

Again on the way back, we will make a stop at the first populated village on the island of Sao Miguel! There will be time for a tasting of regional sweets, especially the "Fofas da Povoacao".

Passing through the Gorreana tea plantation

On the way to Ponta Delgada, we will make the journey through the northern part of the island, crossing the only tea plantation in Europe, the Fábrica Gorreana tea plantation.

Ribeira Grande

Before reaching Ponta Delgada, we'll also stop by Ribeira Grande, the second largest city on the island of São Miguel.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start time of the experience, the amount paid will not be refunded. Any changes made less than 48 hours before the start time of the experience will not be accepted. Cut-off times are based on the experience's local time. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If canceled because the minimum has not been met, you will receive a different date/experience or a full refund.
